APIS-60

Love the design but couldn’t justify spending 3-6 times more than the other scrubbers. I use an in sump Icecap model and love it.

Ah hahaha I was trying to fix my post but you totally answered it. I was debating between the maxspect in sump or APIS-only because its on sale for 10% off…

good to know you love your icecap model!
Clear Water seems nice too but reading about the sound and.. seems a bit riskier haha

I really liked the “in sump” option of the IceCap because if there’s ever a leak or overflow issue it’s going right back into the sump and not the inside of the cabinet/surrounding floor area.

3.5 weeks of growth on mine.

Oh wow.... NEED to order one now haha! Where do you keep yours in the sump? Was planning on getting semi-customized bashsea sump and adding a wall after skimmer specific for the in sump algae scrubber.
Thinking if I kept it with the skimmer then the water level would change too much?
