So I bought some pulsing Xenia. Dipped and put them on a small rock in the tank. Went back an hour later and see what I think is apistaia. So I removed the Xenia and set it in a cup to deal with in am. So my question is apistaia a black/dark brown color under white lights? Next do I need to worry I disturb it placing the Xenia on the rock. I definitely wasn't very smooth. Lastly if I peal a piece of Xenia off and place it on a new rock will the apistaia follow?

hi ,pics?

Idk if I can get a picture it's tiny and under one of the xenias. I had a good view but not that I removed it what I'm guessing is apistaia is just a brine dot but let me go try

Also no idea what other coral the Xenia is on any idea?

candycane /trumpets,is other coral ,zenia ,hard to tell in pic on nem, scrape it off ,and zenia too

no just toss the nem ,save the zenia, invasive but can be controlled, you bought the zenia because you liked, see another nem ,take it out

do it in bowl of tank water ,even ok to dig into skeleton to remove

Ok so I will scrape some Xenia off the candy cane super glue it to the rock. Then toss the rest and scrape the candy cane clean and find a spot for it. If it doesn't die in a cup under stand over night

should be fine til morn..happy reefing

Also looks like a vermedit snail tube on euphyllia coral branch underneath the red circle...
