Has anyone opted to buy one of the newer Apogee meters that measure Daily Light Integral over the standard PAR meter (MQ-210 & MQ-510)?
The full spectrum model DLI-500 measures PAR and DLI and is IP-65 rated. I was watching some of the Apogee YouTube videos and in the one he mentions this meter being waterproof and people putting it into their aquariums. It's also slightly cheaper than the PAR-only meter (MQ-510). If I would have known about this meter I might have opted to buy it over the standard but had no idea you could submerge it.
I'm not sure how easy the screen would be to read underwater, but it looks interesting and I thought I would share in case some of you had no idea about it as well.
