Is there a good thread, or a quick summary, someone can point me to on the appropriate No3/Po4 levels a person should maintain in a tank? I've seen posts from people that say 0 for both is a bad thing. I test mine every few weeks and I typically run 0.0 NO3 and 0-0.01 PO4 according to the Red Sea test kits. I spot feed corals but they all seem to be growing and overall (knock on wood) I haven't had any serious algae issues yet but I'm only 5 months in so far. Looking for some guidance on this. thanks

People have successfully run zeros when ultra low nutrient systems were the thing. I really wouldn't worry about the levels unless there are issues with the tank you think may be attributable to them. IMO, don't mess with the water chemistry if the tank is healthy and things are growing. At five months the tank is still finding its equilibrium, I'd try to get 8-12 months before you start thinking about dosing anything.
