It's a new tank, cycle complete but no live stock. This is on one (out of 2) prices of rock I got from LFS for cycling. Should I grab a peppermint shrimp? What are the odds it has already sent little babies out? Should I just pull the rock out?

I would remove the rock to treat and take a wait and see approach before I bought shrimp, etc.
