No I am not crazy, well not completely. We have a copperband butterfly who loves them and has completely cleaned my tanks out of them.He/she as Tammy calls it is very well trained and does eat prepared food but loves to hunt.I am out of her/his prey and am looking for some more.It has become some great entertainment feeding this fish.So I am looking for rocks or corals to clean for free.LOL.Mike from Mike_Dani has seen this fish in action and can tell you it works fast.I have put all kinds of zoa's ect to make sure it is trained and it has never bitten another coral.Let us know if we can help you help us.

You can bring him to my tank for a few days... I don't have many but they are annoying.

I have had several offers on renting him out.LOL.I have thought about it but the acclimation and catching him would be bad for him I think.I have even had several offers on buying himbut he is such a pretty fish and I have already got attatched to it.

i have them in my sump and i transfer a glass bottle to my DT every so often to give my file fish a treat. If you want i could add a few random items to my sump for you as they tend to attach to everything.

I read somewhere that copperband often eats live blackworms.
I would like to get a small copperband myself. Marcel had a very nice one in his tank.

Thanks Jason just let me know,Tomoko where do you get black worms? The one I have is about 2x the size of Marcels.I have always loved them as a fish.Do you know how to get in touch with the guy in Decatur (Wheeler Wildlife place) where we had the meeting before. The had alot of them and would also like to get some calurpa from them.It has been hard to find cheato and calurpa for a while.

You can get live blackworms from Pete. He usually have clean ones on hand.

I have an email address of the director of WEEC in my other computer. I will try to dig it up for you later today.
During the last time I was at WEEC (sometime last year) the director was the only person there teaching and managing the whole facilities including the big wetlands behind the building. The faculty was cut to just one person due to the funding cut. I saw some healthy chaeto and good strands of caulerpa racemosa. He had some aiptasia, but he was using them to teach biology classes. I am sure he can spare a whole bunch of majano, though.

Any chance that you can get a healthy small copperband?

I am currently in a fight with an army of large Aptasia's... I am taking care of a DR office 90 Gallon that was in horrid shape that you couldn't touch the substrate for fear of stirring up a HUGE dark forbodding poop cloud! I have tried lemon juice with SUCCESS!!! but they creep back into the rock to far for my syringe. I know not to buy peppermint shrimp as they will be eaten. I bought a CBBF last week and there was a fight between the 2 finned angel and the CBBF so I yanked the angel and in the process distroyed the tank trying to get him out so the CBBF could work his/her magic. If the CBBF does not work out I know the Doc would go for sending the rock out to be cleaned... I will check back to this thread as I will be onsite tomorrow to work on the tank. Once I check for results I and if they are bad then would you be interested in a shipment to be cleaned?

Thanks
