Hey everyone,

So I have had aiptasia problems for a while now but they are getting out of control (qty and size). Not only are they ugly but they are stinging some of my SPS like Monti's. I have tried AiptasiaX but it makes it makes them spread. I have no access to livestock that can help take care of them as the pandemic has stopped all fish and invert imports. Any suggestions to help me take care of the issue until I can get Peppermint shrimp, File fish or Copper-band. I am thinking of using AiptasiaX with putty to seal off the hole like the recent BRS video.

I've only used aptasia x once in passing, but what always worked best for me was to kill the pumps completely and make a paste out of saltwater and kalkwasser and inject it into the mouth with a needle (27 guage or smaller if you have one on hand).

If that doesn't work or I can't get to them with a needle, I've had some luck with using superglue on the holes. However, this is my second choice, as I've had cases where I sealed the original hole and the same nem popped out a few days later from a connected hole nearby or on the backside of the rock depending on how porous it is.
