Aptaisia

I everyone
Simple question: Do you guys see any problems if I am gettings some LPS ans SPS from a tank which is full of aptaisia. I don’t want to take any chances of spreading aptaisia in my own tank by getting some frags from a tank wich is infested?

Umm yes that is a problem. Aptasia Can grow on corals. Yesterday I killed an aptasia that was growing on my trumpet coral. Be careful!

Yes because no matter how much you inspect they'll show up days, weeks, month later (perhaps spores not visible or in the little bit of water that tagged along) and I'm not certain dips are effective on aptasia.
