Aptasia/carpet nem crossbreed?

Hello!
I bought some live rock from Florida about 3 months ago and turned on the lights a week ago. I found a weird anemone on one of the rocks. Does anyone know what it is? Keep in mind that it has to be from Florida

Are you sure it’s a nem? Is is soft or is there a tiny hard spot?
kinda reminds me of some kind of plate coral with how the tentacles are at the center

I thought it looked like a mushroom of some sort until I saw the tentacles in the center.

It is soft, I believe it’s foot is inside the hole it’s sitting on. When I poked it, it retreated into the hole

It looks like a baby single-polyp coral, based on the way the tentacles are in the center around a mouth. I would keep it in light & feed it weekly to see how it develops in the future.

That is super cool. It's not a nem, I've seen these before on LR. It has a hard structure somewhere beneath that tissue like an LPS.

Really cool, it might be a rock flower anemone or a weird mushroom Coral.

I found out what it is, it’s a collared sand anemone that is local to south Florida (Actinostella flosculifera)

I don’t believe you can. Pretty sure the only legal way to get any sort of Caribbean coral is on live rock
