So i have aptasia growing all around my zoa's. Never dealt with it before so I'm not sure on what's the best way to get rid of them.

Slightly worried that if i try to kill them with F aptasia it'll kill my zoa's and cause palytoxin so i wanted to get opinions from people who have dealt with it before.

Please help. It's ugly and everything around them is dying

I always like to go the “natural” route these are some things that will eat apitasia :
1) pepper mint shrimp
2) burghia nudibranch
3)apitasia eating file fish
4) copper band butterfly fish
Out of these 4 I would only recommend the peppermint shrimp cause it’s the safest and easiest to get your hands on .

Just saw your other post no shrimps
Then I would recommend red seas apitasia x .
I also don’t see a problem using f apitasia I have seen people using it around zoas with no problems .

I would watch this. Very good FACTS, on what to do and what NOT TO DO.

I like the putty idea they mention. Coral Gum is new to me. Never tried it but I know that aggravating Aiptasia without sealing them in, just causes more spread.

I agree with 2,3,4. I'm not a fan of Pepermint shrimps from what I read.

I tried filefish don’t do that they will not help! Aptasia eating nudibrachs did but if you get peppermint shrimp first they will eat the nudibranchs! I’ve also heard you can zap them with lasers never tried it but nudibrachs did the trick it ain’t cheap and it’s slow it works though!
