ok so I have a huge outbreak of whatever this is. I setup a 10 gallon tank with 8 peppermint shrimp. I added several rocks with the “aptasia” and they won’t touch it. I drove 2 hours to a shop that breeds and trains their shrimp to eat aptasia. Added 6 more of their shrimp just today. I watched in his store these shrimp instantly destroy and aptasia on a rock he threw in. So I’m thinking maybe I don’t have aptasia and something else. My display tank has been over taken and about to nuke it if I can’t figure out what these guys are.

I feel your pain. I have the same thing going on in a nano right now. Berghia nudibranchs is what I would use. All they eat is aiptasia and then once their food supply is exhausted, they will die. My problem is I have some peppermint shrimp in the tank and they (and other predators) can eat the nudis. I have to get them out first. Good luck with the battle.

The shrimp are hit and miss. My pair were a complete miss. I have seen them work before though. Just never in my tanks. ;Meh

Copperband Butterfly fish..I just had the same situation in one of my tanks and all gone for now ,atleast..
now have to try and figure out what to feed this CB.
