Jellyfish (same as my Avatar). It will starve and disappear on its own.
I don't want it to starve! I dose about 7oz of live phyto every other day. I didnt know they stuck to the glass! Interesting, guess I'll be researching after work
 
They have 0% survivability in a reef tank.
Usually they live as sessile organisms inside a tube. In that form they are able to live of photosynthesis. During changing water parameters healthy ones will release swimmers.
Inside one of my breeder tanks some of these swimmers got pretty large because i was feeding massive amounts of freshly hatched artemia to my fish, but after the i changed to dry food the jellyfish all disappeared.

A pic of my colony. Terrible picture but they are in an akward spot. The tubes don't multiply so you are stuck with the size you get as hichhiker.
