So I’m a total newbie to reef systems, and I’m setting up my first proper tank.

cycling the tank with live rock atm. I’m getting some interesting hitchhikers. Got two amazing abalone. But I have had two new either aptasia or feather worms come out. They look different from each other.
The second larger one is in an awkward spot to photo.

any ideas?

Alternative is F aptasia, I find it to be a lot easier to work with. I also have just finished cleaning up some of aptasia from my overflow, and a tuberculin syringe with concentrated Calc water injected into the base does wonders.

when you have so few like you do, peppermint shrimp do a really very nice job
