Hi, I am cycling a brand new tank now (2 weeks in) and today while cleaning my old aptasia riddled tank a splash of water landed in my new tank.... I am worried as it only takes one cell to start aptasia off. What can i do?
Maybe make the tank hypersaline or acidic for couple of days. Advice please.

Ps, it is a dry rock tank

Think you’re worrying too much. Doubtful the splash did anything and if / when you do get aptasia just tend to it before it gets out of control and you’ll be fine

The Aiptasia plan of attack is to have and sustain a Copperbanded Butterfly. They eat the baby aiptasia that just get started. The medium to large aiptasia the CBB won't eat bc it gets stinged by the aiptasia. You take care of med/lrg aiptasia and the CBB will do the rest. Ive been aiptasia free fir years. The day my CBB dies, I'm going straight to the LFS to buy another.
