Ive been using aptaisia X to try and rid of the little things but it doesnt do a **** thing. Literally 3 days later they come back. Any ideas what it could be or what I need to do?

Aiptasia x makes them spew out larvae that produces more Aiptasia.

Have you tried peppermint shrimp?

I had the same results with aptasia x. They came back bigger and stronger.

I have made my own with lemon juice and kalk. I heated it up in the micro and inject and cover the whole aptasia.

I tried peppermint shrimp in the past and had some troubles with them. Theyd bother my Zoas. I know they can easily be mistaken for camelback shrimp or whatever theyre called so maybe thats what I had. Is their a distinctive difference to look for in the two?
The aptaisia are getting a little out of hand, well for my liking at least. Ive debated on buying a few to give a try which might be the best solution since this stuff doesnt seem to work.

How much lemon juice and kalk did you use?

Calcium hydroxide aka Lime.

Make a mix with RO water that is thick like pudding but able to flow through the syringe you have from the Aptasia remover product. Be careful, its very caustic

Turn off pumps, find those little buggers, get close and start putting the lime mix on it, start with the mouth. When it retracts, fill that little hole or spot. Don't get it on your corals though, it will do the same. Go slow. That's how I eradicated them when I had them.
