Guess it’s a good thing I rearranged this tank. Should I take the rock out completely or assume it’s all over at this point and pick up a peppermint shrimp?
If you've only seen the one, i would take the rock out, remove it, and put epoxy or superglue over where it was to prevent it coming back and hope for the best :)

I would just let it dry out-beware it will smell awful lol
I’ve tried the epoxy and gel but live rock is packed with networks that it could just find another hole to come out of.
That’s if the tank was just put up or that rock was just added. If it’s been a while, this is just the first one you’ve noticed and there will be more

Yes, the tank is fairly new. However, I am expecting that its in there and i'll likely see more. Going to get a peppermint shrimp tomorrow to hopefully keep it in check. But for now i'll let this piece just dry out and use it in a future project. Thank you for the feedback!

No problem :) is beware of peppermint shrimp though if you have any lps. Mine used to pick out food that I fed them as they’re slower eaters. Note: used to lol
