I'm doing a new build. Peice by peice. My current tank has the dreaded pest. Mostly seen them in the over flow and refugium. I'll probably keep my current tank but not have it in use for a while. But my refugium has a lot of those pests can I just throw it outside in the hot sun with plan water for a few days and scrub it down. Then let it dry out completely. Or should I add some bleach to it?

You can do either... If you're emptying the thing and letting it dry out it makes sense to bleach it and sterilize everything.
I was thinking that. It will be a few weeks before the new tank is up. But the refugium I'm probably going to just fill it with plain water let sit for 24 hours then scrub it down then empty it. Then let it sit for another 24 hours in the hot sun. Then clean it again. These summer months get extremely hot.

For what it's worth, I know Aiptasia die in 105 degree water. I had a heater malfunction on a tank where I keep Aiptasia to feed to my nudibranch and nothing survived.
