Aptsasia infestation

i have about 60 lb of rock that is literally infested. I am to the point I have decided to take the livestock back to LFS for store credit. I would like to be able to reuse the rock . Can I take it out of the tank and let it sit out in the sun or would I need to give it an acid bath. The only other alternative is to pitch and save a little money and start over. Opions

I have been that rout as well as Klein Butterfly and matted file fish , most of the issue with this is the other fish bully them.

I feel like Aiptasia deserves an acid bath, lol. I hate it so much.
