Aqamai KPS not enough

Sooo I got an aqamai KPS and it arrived yesterday. It’s real small and I’m afraid once the rocks get put in it won’t be enough for the 40g breeder.

I also have a KPM. Should I use both? Or am I looking into it too much.

Fill the tank freshwater and let's see how well it works. Put an airline right by the pump so it is easy to see where the movement is going.

Think one KPS would be too much for a 5G cube, even dialed back?

I use one in my BioCube 16. I don’t take it over 30%. I can dial it back even more if I had too. It might be fine. At $120 it’s worth a shot. I love my KPS.

Cool, thanks! I’m thinking I can fluctuate between 5-15% for some good flow. I’ll be replacing my koralia 425 with this.

I can get it for less than $100 with some coupons at Petco, so I think I’ll pull the trigger.
