Aqamai KPS red light

I had my KPS start blinking red sunday. I made sure to clean it up really well. Still blinking red.

I tried to email the manufacture and got a generic response saying they will get back to me. No response further

I had this wave maker for 6 months. Does anyone have a fix? Or maybe an email i can email someone and get a response?

Have you tried soaking it in Citrus Acid or vinegar? Have you tried pulling on the impeller to see if it will come out?

Soaked in vinegar. Everything is very free and easy moving.

Been 6 days since emailing the company. No reply. No customer service. WIll stay away from Hydro products from now on.

Does anyone else reccommend a different wave maker for biocube 32?

They never contacted me.....I was able to limp it by doing a deep clean and letting set unplugged. It's now giving me the same problem.

I'm just going to bite the bullet get a vortech. I already upgraded light to a xr15 and i like mobius app.

Have you checked out the new line of Ice Cap wave pump, looks like the KPS but lots of changes, especially the controller, it is now wired. Having a pump the can only be controlled by your phone is just blame dumb IMHO but of course I bought one and then figured that out.

I think it's resolved for now. For any looking for possible fix. The controller box it's just pressed together. Put my finger nail and pulled it apart.

On the back side of he border there is nothing protecting it like the front. No gel coating. There are only couple tracers on the back. Sure enough a little with corrosion.

I took rubbing alcohol and clean it. It was a lot but it was there. Now the pump works great.

Hope this helps someone else.

I will probably order a vortech. I love being able to program my pump with blue tooth with exactly what i want for my tank.
