My Aqua Craft salt has arrived a while back, but as I was switching tanks. I wanted to wait to try it out to give it a fair chance. I am mainly growing sps, zoas with a few lps. I do weekly water changes and after a couple changes with the salt I am liking how clear it mixes. Other salt that I use has to sit for at least a good 6-12 hours.

Aqua Craft Salt Mixed up
Temp 78
Salinity: 1.024
PH: 8.3
Calcium: 410
Alkalinity: 11
Magnesium: 1450

Have to dose calcium to get levels up to 450 and continue dosing all week. As well as dose alk to keep it above 10 all week. Over all I am pretty happy with the salt.

After buying a few more bags and testing this salt out. I think im making the switch to this. It mixes very clear and my corals seem to like it as well. I do have one draw back on this as I have to dose a little more alk then my old salt but that is fine since im getting better growth out of this salt. Thanks for letting me try out the salt. Your plan worked to make me a customer :)

I also like aquacraft salt a lot. Been using it for almost a year now. Never had a problem. I hear it is what a lot of large commercial aquariums use.

I know this is an old thread but I have been using Marine Environment Salts (Aqua Craft) for about 20 years. Its worth the extra money to me. I have tried other salts. I always go back to Marine Environment. You must to give it 24 hours to dissolve before using it. That's the closest thing to a negative comment I have for the Salt. I have not used the other Aqua Craft salt mixes.

I have no opinion of the "S-15 Report". It was not a consideration. I bought the salt solely because LFS was out of everything else. I used it and noticed more activity, colors and growth in the reef so I kept using it.

Wouldn't give a penny there way after the way the owner treated a couple guys in my local club and how he talked to my wife when she tried to diffuse the situation. I'm not sure if he's a sponsor here so I won't go in detail.. But it was far from what you'd call professional from a ceo of a company like his. I've gotten used to the the fact there's a ton of shady people in this hobby. I've also learned you don't have to support the bad ones anymore, no matter how good they claim to be. We have options now... That's my $.02 anyhow.
