Aqua/fx Octopus RO/DI

Anyone have one of these units?

I went and picked up a box of stuff froma guy getting out of the hobby and this was in it.

They had the the d/i last and a extra valve, so I got it setup correctly per the diagram on there website.

This thing is complicated for someone like me, I'm a duct tape/hammer kind of guy LOL

Well I ran it like the video said and all is working but the thing that baffles me is the tds is saying zero after following the instuctions( this was before I switched the canisters around and hooked up the lines correctly per the owners manual) since I switched around the lines correctly its still saying zero, could it be possible that eh filters are still good?

It's possible if the canisters still had water in them, it wasn't stored for long and it was not exposed to bright direct lighting or temperature extremes. What are you testing with and how? What is the tap TDS and RO only TDS in addition to the RO/DI TDS? The other two numbers will help you determine if things are right or not.

I'm trying to figure out this thing as the guy who had it before me had it all turned around. There is a built in tds meter but because all the electronics are out of place I'm not sure it's working. I watched there video and everything thing happens like it's supposed to except the tds.

All the valves click open, water is flowing but comparing it to the PDF file in the owners manual it's not hooked up correctly but the wires are not colored
