I thought I would post something on the Customer Service I received from Justin at Aqua Illumations on a problem that I had. My tank has been set up for about a year, but I started buying equipment for the new tank about two years ago, maybe longer. I had purchased 3 AI Sol Blue lights for the new tank, one at a time
they just sit in my closet, tucked away so that the wife didn't see them
About two months ago I started making a control Panel in my stand to put all of the equipment controls in. When the time came to mount the controls in the panel I started unplugging equipment and pumps, untangling wires and reconnecting them. Everything went along smoothly, everything was pretty much done and turned out well. The last step in the process was to move my LED light transformers, shouldn't be a big deal, the kicker was, I really didn't have to move them from where they were, but there was a better spot to have them, so I did. To do this I had to unplug the lights to get the cables where I wanted them, did this and plugged the lights back in, everything came on, no problems. Then I realized I had one of the wires crossed over another wire, unplugged the LED transformer cables one more time to fix this, again I didn't have to but I had come this far, one more time wasn't going to hurt
Plugged the lights back in, only two of the lights came back on &%$#@ After trying to get the light back on I sent AI an E-mail, Justin contacted me, we worked thru a process, ending E-mails back and forth trying to get the light fixed, nothing Justin had me try got the light back to working. Justin came to the conclusion that the Mother board for the broke light was fried and that what ever happened to the light also fried the controller. To say that this light was out of warranty is an understatement, I was willing to pay whatever it took to get my light and controller back to working. Justin told me he would send me a new Mother Board for the broke light and a Refurbished controller. I got the new Mother board in yesterday, put it in the light, plugged it in
back to working
I am hoping the refurbished Controller comes in today or tomorrow and my lights will be back to a working order. Oh, what did Justin charge me for all of his help, the new Mother Board and the refurbished Controller $10 shipping
Does it get any better than that?
