Aqua Illumination 52 non HD

Found a deal on some hydra 52 non HD lights including a the controller for a Apex , wanted to no is that the only way to have these lights work is to purchase a Apex or is there any other way ?

No, the newer versions connect via Bluetooth and the MyAI app.

You can buy one of the white wireless controllers. They no longer make them though so you’ll need to find one used

They do come with a controller was wondering would 3 be good for a 1250gl. tank or too much?

Assuming that’s a standard 125g 3 will be fine their spread is about 24x18

Yes its 72"x18"x21", they said it comes with a controller to hook them up to a Apex EL, since the lights are the non HD type

Finally picked up the lights the person I bought them from had them hooked up to his apex EL he gave me the AWM module to hook them up was wondering is it straight forward to hook them up or is there anything special I need to do to make them function ?
