Aqua illumination director

Hello everyone, i bought a pre used ai director but when i go to set it up it asks for the serial number .the problem is that the director serial number is scratched off . Is there another way to be able to set it up?
Ps. I also reached out to aqua illumination customer service various times and no reply.

Can't help you with the connection, but what is the purpose of this unit?

Why wouldn't you just connect your AI lights to the MyAI app and be done with it?

The light im using is an older unit i got pre used. Only way to be able to control it is though the director or an ai control

Got you what lights are you using?

Seems a wee bit dodgy to me that the serial number has been removed! I hope you manage to get AI support, usually they're spot on..

Chances are you can open up the unit and find it on the inside somewhere.
