Aqua medic evo 4 dosing pump !

hello , Ive been on the point of buying a dosing pump.. i was toying with the idea of getting a jebao but ive just managed To score a good deal on an aqua medic evo 4 plus add on of 4 Chanels .. have i done the write thing .. has Anybody got experience with the aqua medic , are they considered too be beter than jebao .. it was an impulse buy I'm afraid ..any comments appreciated..!

I dont know about the new Evo pumps, but I used an AquaMed 4 channel doser many years ago and it lasted a very long time, almost 10 years. I used it on my reef tank and then maintained it when I switched to a planted tank. I only stopped using it a few years ago when I upgraded my controller to an Apex and decided to go with individual BRS dosers.

I have both and don't have issues with neither. Jeabo running for over 3 yrs now

AquaMed controller is nice in that accessibility is easy

There is no comparison between the Jebao and Aqua Medic. It's like comparing Dongfeng Motors to BMW. AquaMedic products are top tier in my opinion. The price of the EVO 4, however, is most definitely in line with the most affordable dosing systems. I'm very happy with mine. Extremely accurate and very easy to program.
