Aqua medic smartdrift 3.1 rattling noise

Hi

So I bought the pump since it was advertised as being "ultra silent". It is not...
It has this rattling sound and its driving me crazy trying to figure out what it is.
I have tried letting it run nonstop for a 3 days and nothing happened.
So I wanna hear if any of you have the same problem and/or if you have a fix for it.

Note: this video you are able to hear it if you headphones and turn it up to 100%. My mobile microphone isn't very good at picking up the sound, so I hope that you are able to hear it.

yes. I tried disassembling it and it seems to be working fine but the noise is still there. When I put my hand and try to "block" the intake/the back of the powerhead the noise stops

My pump is doing the same, the noise stops when I move the intake up against the wall of the aquarium. I was working perfectly fine for a few days after starting from brand new. I’m not sure if it’s the impeller scraping against the casing or if it’s the pump housing rattling against the tank. It has rubber feet but not suction cups. Tomorrow I’ll be buying some auctions cups to see if that fixes the issue. We’re you able to resolve the issue of your pump being noisy?

Since I have upgraded from my old 33-gallon to my new 100-gallon it's actually been pretty silent even when I turn it up to 100%. I think it is because of the thick glass that my new 100-gallon has, it's 1 cm thick glass compared to my old tank which had only 5 mm thick glass.
