Aqua Medic SmartDrift 7.1

Hey guys

Planning to replace my Tunze with a SmartDrift.
However I want to place it on the backwall and therefore would need to place the magnet (holder) into my back chamber (AIO tank) in the water.

Now, is the magnet water proof?

I personally wouldn't trust any magnet sold for dry usage in a submerged environment for long. You're probably better off finding a magnet designed to be submerged preferably something sealed/coated

Well and how would you search such a magnet? Ive heard that the tunze magnets should be sealed though.
