Hi all with my tank I want to integrate a filter roller to replace my socks anyone have the tank and got photos of how they have completed this all pvc pipes in my tank

Any but all drains are full pvc so not sure what to do

On my Reefsys 326 I replaced the drain pipe, Gate Valve and pipe (parts 17,20,21,22) with a new parts that went directly into the input of an X-filter 1.0.

You could instead cut the lower drain and use a flexible pipe to the input of the roller filter, but I wanted hard plumbing.

Thanks I'll have a look to see what I can fit into mine as the main drain will then need to be brought to the front which then eliminates 2 sections

Yes, exactly what I did.

The x-filter is in the front right with the heater. The filter sock area is unused as unfortunately the x-filter would not fit.

I run the return pipe from my media reactor into the filter sock area so it gets some flow.
