I finally settled on a scape. Still kind of the pile-o-rocks with a lot of tunnels. Been a 9 year break from the last time I had a tank going. Glad to be back.

Just finished my aqua scape today. Who knew it would be this hard to design a tank. I really like your setup. I watched a ton of videos and couldn’t figure out how to get the scape I want. You see all these videos of tanks and most of them are fully matured tanks or just beginning tanks so you don’t really get to see how the tank is created from beginning to end. I really wanted a natural reef tank. In hind sight I would have went with a deeper width. I feel like that’s where you really get the view I’m looking for. Seeing how this is my first ever reef tank I’m happy with how it turned

out. I put a lot of hours into it. I’m just feeling blessed to even experience this. I really hope it works out. The water is still murky I just laid the rock and sand a couple hours ago.

Love it mate, well done! Still trying to work out a scape for my RSR 170. Space is a little bit of a limiting factor. It’s a work in progress, need some more rock to build upwards I think.

I definitely thought about building higher. Only problem was most of the rock i got I busted up because I was thinking about doing an NSA and I completed part of it and realized it wasn’t for me. So no matter why I tried I could get that natural flow with what I had so I said to heck with it and ended up with what I have. I do have some rock left and if inspiration comes to me I can always add it later. Can wait to see your build. Thanks . Cheers

Looking good! I’m hoping to get water and sand in mine this weekend.

Video
Still a little cloudy from the sand and freshly filling, should clear up in a day or so. Had to turn on lights just to see it.
