Even without eurobraces, I’m not a fan of giant solid structures. I like smaller pieces so that if I need to take something out down the line I can. Having entire half of the tank be one structure makes that nearly impossible once stuff has started to grow in.
I have a build thread going … https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/the-coombomb.839861/+1 to @MaxTremors I have a eurobraced acrylic. I am building mine in the tank. I have also opted not to glue it. This is in part because my rock has been submerged for a long time and it is just not going to stick. Even still... the corals are all frags and they will have different needs as they grow. Over time, I am going to need to rearrange the rockwork.
Lastly, if I ever need to hunt a naughty fish (we're talking about you, Mr. Wiggles) than I need to be able to clear the playing field.

We all start somewhere. Given your experience in planted tanks, may I suggest trying your hand at a planted macroalgae tank? Take a look at @Tigahboy for inspiration. Boone does it better. Perhaps it will feel like a more natural transition for you? Baby steps, you have the talent. I believe you will do great work!
