Aqua Ute 6800 booster pump

I recently purchased a aquatic 6800 booster pump, but when I plug it in it doesn’t turn on. I plugged it in prior to setting it up on my rodi unit, so I hope I don’t sound stupid, but is there a reason why it’s not turning on or do I have a faulty pump

It has to have water flowing through it to turn on.
Hook it up to your rodi and try again.

Is the main line to the ro water and booster pump turned on? If not it might have a water sensor and only turn on when it gets wet.

I hooked it up right and water is running through it but it’s not turning on

Wiggle the power cord around going into the pump when it's plugged in.
