Multiple questions, and sorry for not being home to have pictures to help ID what I need.
I have three of the 25W Aqua UVs “connected” from out-to-ins via hoses on the plastic nipple-thingy of each. The plastic connectors are threaded into each unit with some plumber’s tape on them..... they came in the box with them, so easy-peasy
I got a 4th sterilizer and it was hard-plumbed PvC, probably in the person’s drain or return or whatever, so I don’t have the plastic nipple-deals and I’m not sure if the caps on the UV housing itself has the internal parts needed to connect those nipples to it. I’m obviously not hard-plumbing this one, as the other 3 are great where they are.
Anyone know what pieces/parts I can order to basically unscrew and replace both “caps” on the housing?
Also, my 4th came with a broken bulb and sleeve. I was looking to order new ones and I see aftermarket bulbs are about $25 less each, and I was planning on buying 5 (replace broken one immediately and have 4 spares for when it is time to replace them all). Any reason not to go with the non-OEM bulb? Reviews on all bulbs seem mixed.
Here is how the 3 I currently have plumbed are setup...... simple and messy, but it works.
I basically need parts for the white with black tip on the black ones, or the all white pieces on the other...... I zoomed:
