Hi all...

Are there any users of AquaVitro Fuel here? I've read both pros and cons about this product.

Sunday morning I put a tiny amount, less than a big drop, in my 10 gallon reef tank. All looked really cool except for my Pulsing Xenia. It blew up like a balloon. I thought it would blow up. Lol! It has since returned to normal.

What's your experience with it, would you recommend it?

Thanks!

Haven't tried it yet but I am ordering some Friday.iv heard great things about it so ill be taggin along to this thread

i love it. i brought the whole aqua vitro products even the salinity salt bucket. with the fuel i can tell the different in the corals when i used it and when i don't used it only con is not cheap which i stop buying long time ago but will soon get em when my budget allow me.

I use it and love it! I have noticed a big difference in PE on all coral. It has also made my coralline algae grow like crazy.

Seems like a good thing, then. Anyone else notice reactions like with my Xenia? It reacts at weekly water changes too, though not quite as dramatically.

I've started dosing a mix of Fuel, Vibrance, and Elos Omega AAs (mixed for total concentration about 1/2 suggested total dose). I can't really notice that much of a difference (SPS Nano), but I don't want to just go from 0-100 dosing this. Maybe as I up the dose it'll make a difference.

Be careful if you store this in a container for a doser since it will grow just about every kind of bacteria imaginable. I found that mixing a daily dose with 25ml of clear kalk water (all the Kalk settled) keeps bacteria from growing. Doing this I am able to keep the dosing pump set for an entire month without getting bacteria and other nastiness growing in it.

I dosed it for about 6 months... I noticed no changed to the tank beneficial or detrimental. No change in color vibrance, no change in growth rates, and no change in polyp extension. I get more polyp extension when I feed my DIY custom frozen food to the tank.

While it may help some tanks and some people may see a difference, I feel that other actions I take with the tank make this product not needed in my situation. It is a good product and I have heard many great things about it. This is the reason I decided to try it myself. It surely won't hurt to try it to see if it helps the tank. Be ready to work your way to full dose, which can burn through a bottle quickly on larger tanks.
