I've always used the coral plus bulb but I decided to try a aquablue special. I noticed loss of color in certain coral. I used to run front to back ATI fixture & bulbs

Three months ago I switched out the coral+ for a aquablue special. Has anyone else experienced the AB washing out colors?

I have that bulb and It is a more white color so that could be a reason. It only has a hint of blue in the bulb and is more for growing coral not much as a coral popping bulb.

I've been running 2x ABS & 2x B+ for 3yrs. No washed out corals at all.

The bulb shouldn't wash any color out it is just diff look to u, but trust me it may grow on u. :)

This is my tank with only t5 Aquablu Special...

Ab Special is the real light of the first 3 meter reef (maybe something like 6500 kelvin will be more similar)

All using Blu light...

Blu light is an ugly woman with mask... But I understand that this help..

Blu is magic... Yes... To cover disaster...
