Aquabus cable

I've been using these for connecting modules with no issues.

I used a generic USB extension on mine a few times, but A to A connectors are fairly rare in the computer industry. They exist, but there is not a ton of them.

If you do use a regular cable, make sure it's not an amplified cable. Some of the super long ones have a built in amp for the signal and it runs off 5V where the APEX is 12V and it will fry stuff.

To go on further with the above.

USB cables are designed for 5v were as the Aquabus cables are designed to carry 12v. Using a 5v cable not design for 12v will work, but will not give you the same results and using the proper cable design to handle the voltage.
