just picked up a new used aqua c ev120 and the cap of the cup is leaking what do I do about it do I need new gasket??? please help would like to setup my new sump this week end and need to fix this

Is it the collection cup that is leaking? At the base? Or the top? It shouldn't be leaking at the base, you should have it dialed in so that water is turbulent right around the top of the black box. You can control the water level line inside the skimmer by slowly adjusting the gate valve. How much air are you letting in? Skimmers take some time to break in (even if used) and you have to make adjustments slowly and be patient. Once you're dialed in you'll be pulling out junk in no time.
