Hi, does anyone have an Aquaforest AF 90 or 110? I've got a new one that leaks constantly from the top no matter how loose or tight I tighten the screws in the lid. Doesn't;t seem to be anything broken and seems a very simple setup so can't work out what might be wrong. Any ideas? Thanks

I don't have that specific unit, but I believe that there should be an o-ring in addition to the thumbscrews. Is the o-ring in place and is it seeded correctly?

Thanks for your reply. There are o-rings on the top but they seem to compress far too easily and as a result the water seeps out from underneath them. I've tried tightening and loosening them to varying degrees but whatever I do they still seem to leak. Might try and source some alternative o-rings

Another option is to reach out to CoralVue who provides support for AquaForest in the US and is their NA distributor. You can reach them at [email protected] - be aware that they may be delayed with their response because of their recovery from the recent hurricane that affected that region.

Hi Mate,

Had the exact same issue. I ended up replacing the silicone washers with 19mm rubber washers from our local hardware store. I put one on the top and bottom of the pipes and tightened. Has not leaked since.

The unit I had only had the big o-ring and then two silicone washers for the top of the pipes (I.e on the outside) so not sure if that is how they ship? Or mine was missing parts?
