AQUAFOREST and WATERBOX OH MY!!

wow looking soooo much better. whats your next step?

More fish and then I will start adding corals. I want to get the majority of my fish in first.

I have some in quarantine and will be adding a few more this coming week. Then I will be adding some more fish to the quarantine tank. Then move them into the display. Then corals. I take my time as you can see. I don’t rush anything. [emoji4]

Not really sure on the dosing containers yet but I guarantee they will be quality!

Great idea with gathering all your equipment first! Things move much better when you have it all stockpiled. Sounds like you’ll have tons of room for expansion! Lol

I was thinking of the simplicity containers, they seem pretty nice and cost effective. Yeah, so much room I might add on an 65 in my basement just for fun..lol

I’ve got another premium aquatics shipment coming tomorrow, and actually placed the order for the tank today. I’ll start my thread soon.

What tubing do you use for the doser? It’s my first time using any doser.

I bought food grade silicone tubing off of Amazon. Make sure you get the right size. [emoji6]

Mike what test kits you use ?

I use all Aquaforest test kits now. I switched over to them because ...

1 . They are super Accurate. They have a reference solution inside the box so you can test the kit and or yourself to ensure accuracy.

2. Price is very reasonable.

3. They are very easy to use.

My tank is about 4 weeks old and I am battling this green film on the glass. fun times. lol

Not sure if it was discussed but how did you cycle the tank and how long did it take to cycle?

I cycled the tank using Aquaforest Bio s and a raw shrimp. It took 14 days and then I put 3 chromis in the tank... ready to go. [emoji4]

Fresh picture coming at you!

Got a little bit of the brown back but not much. Typical new tank stuff. If you look close you’ll see my even dozen blue chromis swimming around!
