Does anyone dose their tank with AquaForest Coral B or AF Build? If so, what are you trying to achieve with it?
Thx

I have been on the AF system for the last 5-6 months and have been putting 3 drops of coral B or build every other night in that time span. I don't know 100% what it does, but the whole system has very much helped my SPS become more healthy and color up/grow faster.

I used the Build for approximate 1 month. I dont know about health or growth difference but I definitely observe a colour difference. After using build for 2 weeks for 2 times a week the acros started lokking a bit pale. Its not that they were loosing colour but they were getting pastel shade from bright vibrant colour. So, I stopped dosing it as I dont like pastel shades much. I think this happened due to the CuSO4 in the build. But other than this I never saw anything bad or negative. So, if you want to give your system pastel shades you can use it.

Anyone else?

"Speeds up the adsorption of calcium and carbon required for building up coral skeleton.
Contains: iodides, carbonates, calcium.
AF Build maintains correct pH level in aquariums and improves water clarity.
It lowers the levels of undesirable hair algae and prevents the growth of pathogenic blue-green algae."

This is what it claims to be doing. I use it and growth has improved by using full system so not sure if this does a huge impact or not.

AF Build does not contain copper, AF energy does.

Yes you are right, I was actually dosing both but when I saw the the colour softening up I stopped both. I just mixed up which one contains CuSO4. Thanks.
Interesting point is it does not contain anything new so the logic of using it is a bit questionable.

That one is snake oil. It contains iodides, carbonates, and calcium. It does not give any other additional benefit. in that case, your salt mix and balling liquids do the same.

Interesting... and why do you think AF recommends dosing it with AF Energy?

It is mostly calcium carbonate. The remaining parts are RO Water and Iodide.
I am guessing they are saying that the AF energy will bind to the calcium carbonate and become ingested by coral which the same can occur without binding it to calcium carbonate.

It is pretty much Aquaforest's replication of KZ Coral snow but with iodide added. KZ's use of the Calcium Carbonate is meant to filter the water and not as advertised to make corals grow faster which is the snake oil approach.

Edited after thinking about it.
