I was looking to order some new salt this week and notice a vendor has this on sale. I currently use Aquaforest Reef Salt.

Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experiences with this product and if it seems to help any or not.

Lowering pho and nitrate levels
Salt wont accomplish that. Nutrient export happens though water changes, gfo, growing macro, things like nopox etc..

Looks like they are claiming that..

Any new thoughts on this?

It claims to add bacteria. I don’t see that as very useful in a salt mix since reef tanks have plenty of bacteria, and if you really want to add more bacteria, I’d use a bacterial additive.

It adds amino acids and vitamins. I personally would not add these via a salt mix. If I wanted them, I’d add them separately.

The micro and macronutrients doesn’t really say anything interpretable since all salt mixes have some amount of them.
