Aquaforest ICP -KH high

Hi all,

I've done a couple of ICP tests with Aquaforest and overall I am happy with results and consistency, even if duration is slightly longer than Fauna Marin, the addition of RO water check is useful

I am getting KH values of 9.3 when my Hanna is reading 8.4 and similarly with Red Sea test kit.

Curious if anyone has performed Aquaforest ICP and seem similar elevated KH

From what I understand, ICP testing can't detect alkalinity, so they just test it like you would, albeit in a lab.

exactly as Hooz noticed, ICP-OES doesn't detect alkalinity, so it's individually testes by our lab staff.
