aquaforest kh buffer out of stock

I'm trying to find aquaforest kh buffer dry to mix my component 1-2-3.everyone seems to be out of stock.does anyone know of a sub. for the kh buffer in component #2? I have everything else I need for the 1-2-3 except it.

It is literally baking soda in a different package. If you look at their website the only ingredient is sodium bicarbonate.

thanks,I did bake up a batch a few months back before trying aquaforest 123.maybe i'll do a liter and put the strong in with it.anyone see a problem with that?

If you make your own components then this is cheaper in long term.

Just use baking soda. If you baked it you have converted it to soda ash (sodium carbonate) and it is more potent so you would have to reduce your dose.
