Hi,

Anyone using AF nitrate test kit? The color doesn't match anyway with color chart.

I guess there is an issue with B component. Online reviews and tutorials show clearer color of component B. Weird that both B component bottles have the same darker color.

If there is a problem, I'll return it to the store.

Tks!

Thank you! I thought the color should be transparent.

Hello,
That colors means that there is no nitrate ions.
Your result is 0.

Hi

I recently got the same result with a new test kit.

Can i confirm this result reads 0 nitrates or will i need to take a sample to my local store to confirm?

If the resultant color is not in the chart, how would you respond that it's a zero nitrate?
Clearly, that test kit is faulty. And there are several customer complaints about AF NO3 test kit.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
