As of Today, @Bulk Reef Supply now carries the full line of Aquaforest products, Great to see and they have product that has been hard to find elsewhere.

To my knowledge, aperature still has control and rights but has interest in BRS

I think Aperture is the new name for the new conglomerate of BRS, Ecotech, and Neptune systems, with Bertram owning them all

Aperture is the mother company of BRS, Ecotech, and Neptune. Aquaforest was being distributed by CoralVue but now BRS has exclusive distributorship in North America. I think Ecotech will take over European distribution but I can't recall where I saw that.

I think this is a great move and hopefully AF can provide enough supply for the BRS demand.

That is too bad for me personally as I 1) have found a number of AF products i like and 2) have been trying to spread my online buying to others - just cuz I like helping the little guy.

Yep understand Aperture is another level of overhead that will need to take their slice

My two LFSs will not do a distribution deal with BRS - so not direct purchase

So will have to bundle the AF purchases and go elsewhere to satisfy personal plans

That explains why I've seen 2 emails come through with clearance sales on aquaforest. I'm not liking where brs is going with buying everything. My guess is buy everything, wait for the little guys to close then raise prices. Brs is now the Walmart of aquarium businesses

BRS didn't buy AquaForest. AF changed distributors. Big difference
