Well crap. I purchased the wrong saltsalt. My bad.

FWIW u two there is no need for Pro Bio F and NP Pro . U either use either or . If you do use both it is advised to dose at half rates .

Pro Bio F is powdered bio pellets .
NP pro is a liquid form of bio pellets . Aka bio polymer's
They both are a carbon source .

HTH

It's my understanding that they are a different form of bacteria and doesn't hurt to use both, but yes need to dose less for sure.

http://www.saltysupply.com/ they are running a 15% off site wide sale till the 4/18. I saw the email yesterday. All the AquaForest is on sale, I am going to stock up.

I am dosing the NP-Pro at 13 ml of 81 gallons. 5ml per 100 liters or 5ml per 27 gallon of water volume.

Apologies to ByanS4 and jason78 . The pro BioF does indeed incorporate a form of bacteria with a carbon source "ethanol"
The -Np pro is just a carbon source as I stated earlier .

Aquaforest stated . see below

"Pro F - that's culture medium for Probiotic Bacteria. It comprises monosaccharides , disaccharides , polysaccharides and ethanol.
-NP Pro - that's liquid polymers - carbon source for feed Pro Bio S.
Pro Bio F - Probiotic Bacteria and culture medium for them ( in dry form)

Regards,
Aquaforest "

I'm really confused. When I read the guide there is no mention of something called "Pro F" only "Pro Bio F". Has there been a recent name change?

The Bio part just left out. This is a medium in powder form, it has both carbon source and bacteria source. Some use alternating with NP Pro, and others, like myself are using in a nano as an AIO probiotic source. To my knowledge there is only one, it is Pro Bio F. Hope that makes sense. Cheers
