Aquaforest stone fix

Anybody have tips for using this stuff as I am about to throw the whole thing and rock in the garbage it's so frustrating.
Using with Stax rock. I glue it and clamp it and in 15 mins it just crumbles.

Do you mix it to the point where it is a slightly wet clay like substance?

I have tried watery and almost hard...
It just seems to dry and crack.

Then I don't know.. I used dry Indonesian live rock, maybe that made a difference, but I really don't know..

Are you using RO water? You really have to add a large amount to a tiny amount of water. Keep stirring, and add until it starts to turn into a thicker putty type consistency. At this point you should have only a couple minutes before the lot sets up hard. It takes a bit of practice but works a charm once you get it.

No its does not set in mins. I've found that it takes roughly 24 hours for it to properly set. I've also found super glue and accelerator will hold just about anything, then I go back and bond it with E Marco 400(sets in 15-30 mins).

Advice is from using both of them personally. I would never use Stonefix again after using E Marco. World of difference between the 2. Hope this helps.
