Aquaforest Zeo Mix

I don't believe it needs mixed daily. I bought some to try using. I believe a few of the Aquaforest users here run the Zeomix/AF Carbon/AF Phosminus combined in one reactor and replace it biweekly/monthly?

Neat. The thing is on the AF website, it says to use 100 - 500 grams per 27 galloms... WHOA WHOA WHOA! so in my 80 gal total volume, I should use between 300 and 1500 grams of this. That's too much of a variable for me.

Looking for some user experience here. I have 9 small fish.

Aim for the low end. Zeomix can be dangerous if used incorrectly, I believe the label even says to be careful. It can really strip the water quickly.

Directly from the back of the container:

"A specifically selected blend of zeolites. For use in marine and freshwater aquaria. Replace ZeoMix every 6 weeks; use 500g per 100 L of aquarium water. ZeoMix should be used in coral reef aquaria only by experience aquarists as the zeolites have very high absorptive properties, potentially leading to water being impoverished of the required elements.
US: 3.5oz-17.5oz for 27 US gal of aquarium water"
