Aquaforest

Has anyone used Aquaforest Component 1, 2, and 3? I purchased all the individual trace elements Flourine, Iodum, Iron, Kalium, Micro E, and Strontium. I also have calcium, Kh Buffer, Magnesium and Reef Mineral salt. How do I mix my own component 1,2,3. There is a video using the strong components but not individual trace elements. Can anyone help?

Yeah,
I used Comp +1 +2 +3 and it was solid as an rock.
Never mixed my own.

You need to use AF Ca, Mg, Kh buffer, reef mineral salt and component strong to make your own component 123. You can not mix those individual elements to make component strong.Just get a component strong and mix accordingly.

To be honest I wouldn’t have the slightest idea how to mix it with the individual elements like that. You need the lab to tell you how to do it that way. I’ve always done it with using the components strong.

Do you need the recipe to mix it using the components strong and individual powders? If so this is what you need .

Now you also have the option of putting the magnesium portion in either component +1 or component +3. It’s up to you . Just use the same amount as what’s in the recipe. [emoji6]

I really appreciate the responses guys. In the Aquaforest products guide it lists out all the individual elements as an option to using the pre mixed components. I assumed I was purchasing the most cost effective way. I should have done some more research prior.
