I am struggling to figure out how to dose.

I have a 76L tank (20 US gallons) and AquaForest say "1 drop per 100L" can I basically not use Thier stuff because my tank is under 100L?

you could get a 1ml pipette do a certain number of drops. 20 drops = 1ml

AF uses 1 drop per 27 gallons for vast majority of product range. Simple, start 1 drop every 3 days, observe, then every other day, observe, and depending on what your dosing, 1 drop daily once your tank and coral mass increases

I would be looking at the full range almost, components 123 which are easy to dose but then the likes of AF build, amino, power elixir, and Thier carbon dose

Yeah,
I would do something like this
Build+Energy- M-W-F @ 1 drop
Amino+Vitaliy- T-Th-S @ 1 drop
NP PRO- M-W-F @ 1 drop
Pro Bio S- Every Day @ 1 drop

Typically foods or supplements dose at night after lights out. Probiotics, dose in AM before lights or during blue ramp up.

Most things that require dosing are like this. AF isn't unique. All you have to do is find your base rate per gallon or liter.


If the base dose for a 100 liter tank is 1 mL then you divided 1 by 100 = 0,01 mL ==> 0,01 multiplied by your tank liters

Example: 2000 liter tank is 2000*0,01 = 20 mL per day

Your tank is 76 mL so 76*0,01 = 0,76 mL per day.

You can buy a doser or a syringe kit with 1 mL, 5 mL and 10 mL and dose exactly the amount required. Please remember your rock, sand and water level alter total water volume. So, if your tank is exactly 76 liters, that would mean you're probably lower. So, dose half or less at the start.

Edit: Just to be clear. If you purchased a 1 mL syringe from Amazon, it will measure (volume marks or calibrations) 1 mL in 10ths of a mL.
